Governor's zone

In the wake of the 14-19 White Paper and Implementation Plan, there is a pressing need for greater collaboration in the pursuit of higher quality vocational training in schools.

We can only be successful in translating the vision for 14-19 education into reality if we work together and build on each others' unique insights and experience.  As governors you have an important role in contributing to this.  

By leading discussion within schools on the Key Stage 4 curriculum and, in particular, vocational routes and collaboration with other schools, FE and work based providers, school governors can take an important step to ensuring that all your pupils maximise their potential.
